Darren Postlethwaite

My Message

Hi my name is Darren Postlethwaite. I have recently joined Northern Air Hospital Radio as a volunteer.

In 2008 I did level 2 in music inductors at All FM, that was a 2 week course and then I did a level 2 in music, that was at Radio Regen back in 2009, following that I did level 3 A.B and C double music award at Radio Regen.

I enjoy all types of music from recent decades; in fact most people in my family love music. I have enjoyed taking on the role of volunteer, I enjoy going on the wards taking requests, it's great to have a chat to the patients, sharing with them my views of music, sometimes reminding them of the record title if they have forgotten it.

I am looking forward to becoming a full member of the team and meeting all the volunteers and patients.
